EYEBROW TATTOOING

Eyebrow Tattooing, also known as Microblading; is form of a semi-permanent tattooing technique where a small blade is used to add pigment to your eyebrows. It can be used to enhance or reshape the appearance of your eyebrows!
This technique is a process that can either improve or create your desired eyebrow definiton. It can cover gaps, lost hair, extend the length of your eyebrows or can be used as a full reconstruction of the brows. Their are NO limits. Want to add colour to your naturally shaped brows? EASY! Have little to no eyebrows and want a full luscious shape? EASY! Each microblading stroke is applied one by one to allow us to have FULL control on the shape, colour and density of your completed eyebrow.
How You want your eyebrows is how we will do them. We always give you our best opinions however the shape and style is completely and 100% up to you.

THE PROCESS
This treatment begins with your best friend, NUMBING CREAM! while the numbing cream does its job a consultation form and conversation will be done to ensure we meet all your requirements and you meet ours. Once the first step is complete we will then begin the shaping up process. It is important that we get this process perfect. This is where we shape your eyebrows to EXACTLY how you want them. Once you have agreed to the shape and colour choice, the tattooing begins. The tattoo strokes are desired to be as thin and as light as a 'feather' hence the name (feathering) - It has a feather like effect. The colour is chosen out of a natural colour chart and by patient-specifics of micros-pigments to complement hair colour and skin tone.
This means that  if you have little to no eyebrow, or a full brow of hair but just need more colour this technique would be fantastic for you!
We can re-shape your brows to the desired style or we can give your brows a darker look naturally.

AFTER CARE

- You eyebrows can appear up to 50% darker and wider/thicker initially, but DON'T STRESS. They will fade over the next 3 weeks.

- Apply Bepanthen 3 times a day for the first two weeks. Do not apply too much cream just enough to evenly cover the brow. After the first week, apply Bepanthen twice a day, once in the morning and once at night until eyebrows are healed.

- Do NOT pick or scratch fresh eyebrows. This can result in colour loss, scarring and patches.

- Avoid swimming, saunas, direct water and sunlight, solariums, moisturisers and make up for the first 14 days as we want your brows to heal as best as possible.

- Sweating is a big NO NO, if you are an active person or work in area with a high level of activity or high temperatures, please avoid sweating at any cost. This may mean time off from work or low activity work.

WHAT TO EXPECT OVER THE HEALING PROCESS

- Around 7 days post procedure your eyebrows will begin to go patchy. This is because the pigment has been deposited into the skin and now new cells are on the surface. This is what causes the pigment to fade.

- 10-14 days after the procedure the pigment will completely fade! Please do not panic, this is all part of the healing process. You will need to wait until 3-4 weeks to see the pigment reappear again.

- During the 2 weeks of healing DO NOT put any eyebrow makeup on! This will effect the pigment retention and you will need to pay for an additional 3rd procedure.

- If the treated area begins to itch or flake, DO NOT SCRATCH OR PICK!

- The client is asked to apply a pea size of Bepanthen to each eyebrow, morning, midday and night for the next 14 days. This is going to assist in healing and prevent/minimise itching and scabbing.

- DO NOT GET EYEBROWS WET FOR 14 DAYS POST PROCEDURE!

- 14 days after procedure when brows are fully healed you may apply brow makeup and wash your face as normal.
